Sports Massage

Techniques are used to target problem areas, promote recovery, and improve range of movement. This is not only for sports enthusiasts but anybody suffering from muscular-skeletal issues. A postural assessment is carried out to determine the best course of treatment. Recommended for people experiencing acute or chronic pain.

Myofascial cupping to upper arm

Myofascial Cupping

Rather than focusing on the meridian energy system used in traditional Chinese medicine, myofascial cupping targets the muscular-skeletal system. Plastic cups and a hand held vacuum pump are used to create suction. The cups lift the tissue, bringing blood flow and oxygen to the area.

Some benefits include;
- Improves nutrient-rich blood flow
-  Improves fluid movement which aids recovery and reduces oedema

- Improves range of movement by stretching myofascial tissue (connective tissue)
- Breaks up and clears congestion

Cupping can be incorporated into Sports and Deep Tissue massages with Zoe

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage

A firm pressure is used to ease muscular tension and release connective tissue. It can help with aches, pains and reducing stress. Stretches can be incorporated to free up space within the body and improve range of movement.

Hands Massaging

Remedial Massage

Traditional Thai Massage

Traditional Thai Massage

Traditional Thai Massage uses acupressure, assisted stretching, and compressions to alleviate physical tension and improve joint articulation. This is a deep, movement based treatment. Often a therapist will use forearms, knuckles, elbows, feet and knees to release tension.*

Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Yoga Massage is a deeply restorative bodywork practice that blends assisted stretching, rhythmic compression, and mindful movement to create a uniquely energising and calming experience.

Often described as “yoga for the lazy,” this treatment is performed on a comfortable mat, with the client fully clothed, allowing the body to move freely through a series of guided stretches.

Rooted in ancient healing traditions, Thai Yoga Massage works along the body’s energy lines to release tension, improve flexibility, and restore natural balance. The therapist uses their hands, thumbs, elbows, and even feet to apply pressure and guide the body into supported yoga-like positions. This dynamic approach not only eases muscular tightness but also encourages better circulation, movement and a sense of overall wellbeing.

Aromatherapists have extensive knowledge to bring together blends of these oils, according to properties matched to individual requirements.

Please note: a complete consultation is required to ensure safe application and measuring of these potent beauties!

Techniques are applied to the scapulae, thoracic and cervical spine, upper arms, shoulders, neck, scalp and face. This promotes lymphatic drainage, improves circulation, rejuvenates skin health, reduces stress and promotes sleep.

perfectly normal. You will be asked about medications and health conditions during
consultation so treatments can be adjusted accordingly. It is important to communicate
any discomfort regards to level of pressure applied during treatment. The therapist can
adjust pressure according to client’s level of comfort.
Please speak with your therapist should you require advice on best guidance for
recovery.
